Thank you to the 250+ people who came to the 2011 Girls Think Tank Community Picnic in support of Basic Dignity for all in San Diego.

On Saturday October 15, 2011 some 150 homeless San Diegans were happy to be recognized and treated with respect (and lunch) by their community leaders and supporters. The event brought together non-profit service providers, politicians, the police department and concerned citizens (both housed and homeless) all voicing their continued commitment to achieving basic dignity for all in San Diego. Thank you to everyone who pitched in to make the event a success: sponsors, donors, volunteers, special guests and attendees.
The picnic also presented an opportunity to re-emphasize the urgent need to complete the Portland Loos project for 24/7 access to water and bathrooms.
Were you there? We invite you to add to the attendees commentary and photographs from the event by posting yours at http://www.facebook.com/GirlsThinkTank.
If you weren't able to make it but still want to make a donation to support the programs of Girls Think Tank, please select from the "Donations and Membership" options on the left. We appreciate everyone's support as we continue in our endeavors to achieve basic dignity for all in San Diego.
