Essential Supplies Offer Some Dignity This Winter
Have you noticed how cold it is at night. Ordinarily it would be a time to rejoice the much needed rainfall, and the crispness of the air but already the San Diego Winter Shelters for the homeless are full and many folks are left on the streets each night to fend off the cold in any way they can.
Help us bring some basic dignity to our homeless neighbors this winter by making a tax deductible donation to Girls Think Tank using the "donate" button at the bottom of this page. For only $20 you can sponsor an entire backpack, stuffed with necessities to help keep someone warm, dry and healthy.

These supplies, plus those being collected by local schools, businesses and community members like you will be distributed among the 1000+ homeless people of the City of San Diego over the winter. Girls Think Tank’s efforts are grass roots and local. GTT engages hands, hearts, and minds to make a difference in San Diego. Would you like to lend yours? Come to our "Basic Dignity" coalition meetings – we meet the first Thursday of every month at 6 pm at 655 W. Broadway, 19th floor. We are working to bring basic dignity to San Diego – please join us anytime!
